Veteran and RCC Alumni Leaves $1.25 Million to the RCCD Foundation a longtime Southern California Edison employee; she worked for the City of Riverside. Throughout their lives they maintained interest and involvement in the community and education. Each year, RCCD serves more than 1,200 veterans and programs are in place at the three colleges.

US Navy veteran Kenneth Andrews and his wife, Kathleen, were annual donors to the RCCD Foundation. This month the Andrews’ support for RCCD and students reached a new height with the culmination of a planned gift that resulted in $1.25 million to establish scholarships for students at Riverside City College who are veterans.
